Wednesday Club with H.E Ambassador Ibete Fernández Hernández
On this week’s Wednesday Club, we were privileged to have Her Excellency Ambassador Ibete Fernández Hernández, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Malaysia and Non- Resident Ambassador to the Philippines and Brunei as the guest speaker.
Her Excellency shared a brief overview of the history of Cuba, its current challenges and how Cuba sustained its economy along the years. Her Excellency outlined Cuba’s outstanding achievements in various aspects – particularly on Cuba’s advanced medical industry and distribution of medical services around the world. We were inspired by Cuba’s proactive approach in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from that, Her Excellency passionately shared Cuba’s vibrant culture and the best spots to visit.
