Exploring the Future: AI Takes Centre Stage at the TAPiO Speakers Club
The Speakers Club session under the Malaysia Internship Programme for Leaders by TAPiO was about one of the most exciting and fast-moving topics today, Artificial Intelligence (AI).
AI, short for artificial intelligence, refers to technology that enables machines to think, learn and make decisions like humans do. From virtual assistants and Netflix recommendations to self-driving cars and healthcare diagnostics, AI is increasingly becoming a part of our daily lives. The session featured presentations by interns who shared their insights and perspectives on how AI is shaping the world around us.

AI’s Role in Business: Mitigating Risk and Building Resilience
Ms. Choong Zixun shared how AI tools are helping businesses predict risks and stay competitive. -
AI and Sustainability
Ms. Maria Khatib highlighted how AI can support environmental efforts, from managing energy use to reducing waste.
The TAPiO Leadership Internship Programme offers young talents the opportunity to gain real-world experience in an international environment. While university lectures provide a solid foundation, this programme brings that knowledge to life through hands-on projects and meaningful challenges. It is a great way to grow professionally, develop your leadership skills and build connections that could shape your future career.
