INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
& SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

Kick-start your career with a unique international experience.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

As an Information Technology & Software Development Intern, you will work on practical software projects and gain exposure to how modern business applications are designed, tested, improved and deployed.

Rather than working only on theoretical exercises, you may contribute to real internal and client-related development projects while learning how technical requirements connect with actual business needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Testing web applications, software features and new releases in a structured and systematic way.
  • Creating and documenting test cases, identifying bugs and reporting issues clearly to the development team.
  • Supporting software development and modification using Python and other relevant technologies.
  • Using modern AI-assisted development tools, including coding assistants such as Codex, to prototype, troubleshoot and improve software.
  • Reviewing application workflows and identifying opportunities to improve usability, functionality and user experience.
  • Assisting with debugging, data handling, API integrations and system configuration where appropriate.
  • Evaluating existing business software and proposing practical improvements or additional features.
  • Researching technologies, frameworks and tools that could solve specific business requirements.
  • Working with technical and non-technical colleagues to translate business problems into practical software solutions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This internship would suit students in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or related fields.

We are particularly interested in students who:

  • Have basic knowledge of Python or another programming language.
  • Have an interest in software development and business applications.
  • Enjoy testing, analysing and understanding how systems work.
  • Are curious about AI-assisted programming and modern development tools.
  • Can think critically rather than simply following instructions.
  • Are willing to experiment, learn and solve problems independently.
  • Pay attention to detail and can document their work clearly.

Advanced programming experience is not essential. Strong fundamentals are useful, but curiosity, structured thinking and the ability to understand the purpose of a software solution are equally important.

PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVES

1. SOFTWARE TESTING & QUALITY ASSURANCE

  • Learn how to test software systematically rather than simply “trying it out”.
  • Develop functional test cases and realistic user scenarios.
  • Identify bugs, inconsistencies and usability problems.
  • Document issues so that developers can understand and reproduce them.
  • Retest corrected features and help evaluate software readiness.

2. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT & PYTHON

  • Apply Python and other relevant programming technologies to practical projects.
  • Understand existing code and application structures.
  • Assist with developing, modifying and improving software features.
  • Learn how APIs, databases, interfaces and different application components work together.
  • Develop practical solutions rather than programming solely for academic exercises.

3. AI-ASSISTED DEVELOPMENT

  • Learn how AI coding tools can accelerate software development, debugging and experimentation.
  • Work with tools such as Codex and other AI development environments.
  • Use AI to help analyse code, create prototypes, explore alternative approaches and solve technical problems.
  • Learn how to verify AI-generated code rather than accepting output without evaluation.
  • Understand where human judgement, technical knowledge and critical thinking remain essential.

4. BUSINESS SOFTWARE & USER EXPERIENCE

  • Learn how companies use software to manage information, workflows and business processes.
  • Evaluate software from the perspective of the actual user.
  • Identify inefficient workflows and opportunities for automation.
  • Suggest features and modifications based on business requirements.
  • Consider usability, practicality and business value alongside technical functionality.

5. PROBLEM-SOLVING & PRODUCT THINKING

  • Learn to define the problem before selecting the technology.
  • Break larger requirements into practical development tasks.
  • Explore different ways of solving the same business problem.
  • Develop and test prototypes before committing to larger implementations.
  • Build the ability to ask: “What should we build, why should we build it, and how will we know whether it works?”
