On yesterday’s TAPiO Wednesday Club, we were privileged to have Mr. Günther Beissel, the CEO of the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) to join us as a speaker. Mr. Günther was bestowed as the recipient of the Leadership Excellence in MICE at the Global Leadership Awards in 2018.
During the session, Mr. Günther shared how he and his team at MITEC strategized during the MCO period. He imparted his knowledge in the international and local exhibition centre industries, on how leadership with effective communication is the key to manage crises and ensure the workforce stays connected and discussed the impact of the current pandemic and how it leads to permanent shifts in industry and economies.
It was a great sharing session and we sincerely appreciate Mr. Günther for spending his time with the TAPiO members via Video Conference.
