On 19th August 2020, we were privileged to have His Excellency Eamon Hickey Ambassador of Ireland to Switzerland as our guest speaker. His Excellency is also the former Ambassador of Ireland to Malaysia from 2015 to 2019.
His Excellency began the session by sharing an overview of his background as a diplomat transferring from Kuala Lumpur to Berne during the pandemic, then passionately shared his experiences in promoting Irish diplomacy, education, trade, and culture when he was the ambassador to Malaysia. Besides that, His Excellency explained on the embassy's efforts in promoting Ireland in Switzerland and how they cooperated together during the pandemic.
