Our interns at the Malaysia Internship Programme for Leaders by TAPiO had the most wonderful opportunity to attend the celebration of the 29th Independence Day of the Republic Namibia here in Kuala Lumpur. The event was a particularly special one as it was attended by the 17th Battalion Royal Malay Regiment that contributed to the Independence of Namibia.
Her Excellency Ambassador Anne Namakau Mutelo, Ambassador of Namibia to Malaysia presented a handcrafted canoe called "Wato" to the guest of honor, the Honorable Datuk Wira Dr. Mohd Hatta Ramli, Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development.
We would like to wish the Republic of Namibia a Happy 29th Independence Day. May the future of the Republic of Namibia and its people be forever prosperous. "United we stand, for the love of Namibia".
